In Memoriam- Bill Isham
Bill was a free spirit. He said and did what he wanted and did a lot of outdoor adventures. Bill was funny, a great conversationalist and would give you the shirt off his back. I asked him about some glove liners that he was wearing on a backpacking trip once. He said that he bought them by the dozen and gave me a pair. Another time I said that I was having a tough time finding a small coffee pot for backpacking. So he just gave me the one that he was using.
When doing a tough backpacking trip Bill would, on more than one occasion, find a ride or some other method of getting to the end of the trail before the rest of us. I did not see Bill again after 2010. I wish that I had now. You will be missed, my friend.
