I recently received two products from KT Health to evaluate: KT Recovery +
KT Pain Relief Gel & Anti Chafing Wipes
Pain Relief Gel / Anti Chafing Wipes
Pain Relief Gel and KT Performance + Chafe Safe Antichafing Wipes. I tried both of them out and below are my thoughts and feedback on these products:

KT Recovery + Pain Relief Gel- This product was timely in that I injured a muscle in my back while leading a hike in January, 2021. I stepped on an icy spot, my foot moved suddenly and then the muscle on the left side of my back between my butt and my shoulder started hurting very badly. The pain has subsided but I can still fell some soreness in that area in the morning after I get up.

I placed some of this product on that area this morning. It is white in color and is creamy. It has a menthol smell to it. On the tube it says Cool and Warm. When I applied it to the lower and middle part of the left side of my back it went on very easily and felt very cool. After a few minutes it started to feel warm and soothed the slight pain in my back. After about a half hour I felt no pain in that area. So this stuff works. It comes in a 3.4 ounce tube and says that it's compatible with KT Tape. The active ingredients in this product are camphor and menthol.

So overall, I was very pleased with the results of using this product. The only thing I didn't like was that the font on the tube was too small and was very difficult to read. I think that this product would benefit anyone that is active and needs pain relief.

KT Performance + Chafe Safe Anti Chafing Wipes- In the past I have had issues with chafing when hiking or backpacking long distances. Once I was so desparate that I used duct tape. It worked but was very painful to remove. I have tried various products to address chafing over the years. So today I tried this product. What is interesting is that it comes packaged as a wipe. Most of the other similar products on the market are in a container that is similar to one that deoderant comes in. I would think that if you are a runner, hiker or long distance backpacker, that the lighter weight and bulk factor would be an advantage.

When I opened one of the envelopes containing a wipe I was disappointed at first. The wipe itself felt dry. It was like one of those wet wipes that you kept in a hot area too long and when you finally opened it, it was dry. But after looking at, smelling and feeling the wipe, I could tell that it was coated with an anti-chafing substance.

There was no smell to the wipe. But you could tell that it was coated with something. So I applied it to the inside of my upper legs where I usually chafe and went about my day. I could tell that there was a coating on my inner legs that was reducing friction while I was moving around. So yes, I think that this product will not only help prevent chafing but would be more convenient to carry on the trail than the other guys. Again, my only displeasure was that the font on the back of each of the envelopes holding the towlettes was too small to read. As a suggestion, either enclose a separete sheet with bigger font on it or refer the customer to the website for more info.

And I look forward to seeing their products on the various athletes during the Summer Olympics in Japan in summer, 2021. You can get more information about and/or purchase KT Health products at:
